From 1958 to 1079 I was heavily involved in building and flying Radio Controlled model aircraft.  During this period I started both the Waco and Temple R/C clubs.  I built 40 or 50 airplanes and competed in constests, winning over 30 trophies.  The Temple Daily Telegram published an article about my efforts in this hobby.
